Our history
The current CENTROVISIÓN group has its origins in the creation thirty years ago of an optical center by the González and Zabalgoitia spouses, both opticians, in the Vizcaya town of Santurce.
At the end of 1979, the group’s first optical store was opened in Torremolinos (Málaga), with great success, fostered by state-of-the-art and ‘innovative’ technical facilities in this area. Subsequently, centers were opened in Arroyo de la Miel, in the Los Patios Shopping Center in Málaga, as well as in the Rosaleda Shopping Center, which was closed two years later due to the conclusion of the contract.
In 1996, it opened its second center in Torremolinos on the famous San Miguel street, with extensive facilities and advanced optical technology.
At the end of his optics studies, a son of the González and Zabalgoitia family opened the last of his centers in Malaga, in a neighborhood of great expansion and future.
In the 1980s and 1990s, large optical groups of national importance began to emerge in Spain, as was the case throughout Europe. CENTROVISIÓN, understanding that this is the best way to survive in the face of the powerful competition of these groups, joins what it considerd to be the best group from the point of view of human potential and knowledge of optical science: FEDERÓPTICOS.
This group created more than 15 years ago by the best Opticians in Andalusia, and which currently has more than 150 associates throughout the country, is characterized by a scrupulous selection of its members among opticians of recognized professional prestige and human values. Where we stayed 11 years.
We became part of the MULTIOPTICAS group, with the greatest human potential and with more than 500 opticians throughout the country with an open market in other parts of Europe.
In 2012 we left the MULTIOPCTICAS group, to offer a more personalized and optimized service to the client. We currently have four centers in the province of Málaga, with university opticians in all their centers, covering all modern aspects of optics, with the most advanced technologies in refraction, contactology, audiometry and glass assembly.
